At the initial consultation our pet sitters will be focused on getting to know your pet’s and their needs. We ask that you walk the sitter through the basics, outlining where you keep all your pet supplies, food, leashes, litter and other necessary items. Also point out any relevant areas within your home that they will need to be working in. When you register online, you will provide visit instructions, but it would also be a good idea to tell them what you expect for the visit routine.
The initial consultation is FREE.
We ask you provide the pet sitter with working house keys at the end of the initial consultation. We highly recommend (but do not require) two copies of your house keys, one of which will be retained in an office safe for a backup walker. This does not apply to apartment buildings with concierge key service or keyless/coded entrances. We charge a $12 surcharge if your pet sitter needs to return to get the keys. Please contact our office if you need assistance with this matter.
Absolutely. We much prefer you to leave cash for your sitter at your home and leave a note so they are aware it is for them. Gift cards are also a great idea and appreciated.

We provide clients with detailed reports for each of our visits so that you know when we were in your home and what was accomplished.
